About

Sara Pollard, PhD, ABPP

I offer psychological evaluations, individual and family therapy for ages 3 and up. I provide a confidential, compassionate, and collaborative professional relationship to help clients gain clarity about thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and values. When needed, I teach interpersonal and emotion regulation skills. I use treatment methods supported by the strongest research evidence. I am Board Certified in Couple and Family Psychology and have certifications in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (for preschool-age children) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have completed training by Postpartum Support International in perinatal mental health and the Institute for Creative Mindfulness in EMDR. I have worked in academic medical center and community agency settings, and I continue to teach graduate students in psychology and psychiatry fellows. I am out of network with all insurance providers. Call for a free 15-minute consultation and a customized cost estimate for your evaluation or treatment. I am a Licensed Psychologist with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TX License #36822; Expires January 31, 2024). To verify a license or file a complaint, please go to www.tsbep.texas.gov.
